The rise of Militarie Gun is unstoppable. The hardcore band produces a raw and minimalist sound, using a blend of punk, post punk, hardcore, noise and no wave. The band uses dark and introspective lyrics in combination with razor-sharp guitar riffs.
Militarie Gun managed to attract the attention of Loma Vista Recordings (Iggy Pop, Rise Against, Denzel Curry). They have been touring the world as a support act for a few years now (accompanying Soul Glo, among others) and play their own headline shows as well. In June 2023 their second album “Life Under the Gun” came out. The album features catchy melodies drenched in the sharp, raw sound of Militarie Gun. With this brand new album, they are heading to Merleyn in November.
Support act tonight is GUMM from Chattanooga, Tennessee. The band was formed in 2018 and released a killer debut album called “Slogan Machine” this year. We are really looking forward to seeing them in action!
