L’Éclair is a cosmic six-piece formation that play the kind of instrumental jams that bring you back to the days of bands like Tangerine Dream, CAN and other krautrock icons from the seventies.
They have a connection to the Netherlands as well: the band recorded their second album “Polymood” (2018) in Haarlem with producer Jasper Geluk, known from Altin Gün, Jacco Gardner and Allah-Las. By now they’re already on their fourth album. “Confusions” (2021) is their most diverse record to date, showcasing that they can find their way in genres like dub, house, eighties Madchester grooves and post-punk as well.
