The Clockworks is a rough, energetic and powerful punk band from Galway, Ireland. The four-piece band blends intense post punk with disgruntled working-class observations in a unique way. By combining intense vocals with sonic explosions, The Clockworks is band that demands being played out loud and to see live on stage.
The group consists of James McGregor on vocals/guitar, Sean Connelly on guitar, Damian Greaney on drums and Tom Freeman on bass. Challenging hooks, blistering guitar riffs, rhythmic precision and sharp lyrics are what this band has to offer. After an impressive series of singles, The Clockworks have refined their sound to the essential ingredients. Everything you hear is all that needs to be there. After an overwhelming performance at Eurosonic and London Calling, the band is now coming to Nijmegen to play a show in Merleyn.
