Drum & bass big band Polyphonic creates a mix of classic, dance and pop with a large dose of energy. This is the most energetic orchestra you will ever hear.
In 2021, drum & bass collective FIBER and the symphony orchestra Phion presented the orchestra to the world for the first time. They have played many of the larger venues in the Netherlands so far, from Tivoli to AFAS Live. In 2024, the drum & bass big band returns with a new show and, for the first time, their own compositions. They will also play hits from acts as wide-ranging as Pendulum, Chase & Status, Noisia, Chopin, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys and Eminem, as well as do some detours into jazz, Latin, rock and hip-hop.
