Bongeziwe Mabandla

Born and raised in Tsolo, a small village on the East Cape, Mabandla is capable of seamlessly mixing traditional elements with modern influences. His music is oozing with emotion and depth. His deep voice and carefully chosen instrumentation are used to tell stories about love, identity and societal issues.

With a discography that is praised for its diversity and artistic innovation, Mabandla has received a lot of international praise. Mabandla sings in both his mother tongue Xhosa and in English.
