Danish-Faeroese artist Brimheim creates her own music universe in which screeching guitars and deep, intimate vocals take you on an exciting journey.
Brimheim is Helena Heinesen Rebensdorff who lives in Denmark. Her artist’s name is a homage to her Faeroese roots, as it means “home of the breaking waves”.
As the illegitimate love child of PJ Harvey and Caroline Polachek, Brimheim’s music has an emotional darkness and mystical layer that lead to catchy refrains and melodies, as well as to lyrics that are both fragile and full of hope and humor.
