House mates Sean Harper, Lous Milburn, Tom Doherty, and the singing drummer Kai Akinde Hummel are a terrific live band. The postpunk of Folly Group has an exciting intensity to it. And, thanks to the drummer and an additional percussionist, their music is incredibly groovy too, making it very energetic and danceable. ‘Strange Neighbour’ is the name of their single that came out during the 2023 Summer; the album is coming out soon. They’ve played terrific shows at festivals like Grauzone and Left of the Dial, and for their headlining club tour they will perform in Merleyn.
